We, at Willfreight Express Cargo Services, are committed to conducting our business in an ethical, responsible, and sustainable manner. Our aim is to positively impact both the local community and society at large. We strongly believe that giving back to the society is an integral part of our company culture and we dedicate the same level of commitment to our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts as we do when working with our clients.
On Saturday morning, 29th April 2023, we had the privilege of presenting a consignment of foodstuff, stationery, and clothing donations to the Imani Children’s Home located in Kayole, Nairobi. This gesture not only strengthens our relationship with the community but also allows us to share love and support more than 300 children residing in this home.
Willfreight Express Cargo Services Management recognized that many children from underprivileged backgrounds possessed the desire and potential to receive an education but were unable to do so due to financial constraints. This realization prompted the establishment of the Willfreight Express Cargo Services CSR Program team, a department specifically designed to uplift disadvantaged members of society and break the cycle of poverty.
Through our Corporate Social Responsibility Program, many of these vulnerable children have found a decent place to call home and now have the opportunity to pursue education like their peers in society. This program not only benefits the individual children, but it also brings positive change to families and communities at the grassroots level.
As our organization continues to grow and the demand for our services increases, we are committed to extending our impact and support to more underprivileged children in Kenya. Moreover, we aspire to inspire others around the world to examine their own communities and actively contribute towards solving the issues they face.
